How It Works

  1. Sign up: create a free affiliate account in our billing portal. Takes about a minute.
  2. Share your link: we give you a unique tracking URL. Drop it in a blog post, tutorial, YouTube description, or social bio.
  3. Get paid: when someone signs up through your link and pays for their first invoice, you earn $25. One-time, flat.

Effective Date

This Affiliate Program Agreement is effective as of April 18, 2026. It is published by Nova Grid Hosting LLC ("Nova Grid", "we", "us") and governs participation in the Nova Grid Hosting affiliate program ("Program"). By enrolling in the Program, you ("Affiliate", "you") agree to these terms. These terms are supplemental to, and incorporated by reference into, our Terms of Service SLA, Privacy Policy, and Acceptable Use Policy.

Commission

  • Rate: $25.00 USD per Qualified Referral (defined below). Flat, one-time. No recurring commission, no tiered rates.
  • Attribution window (cookie): 60 days. If a visitor clicks your tracking link, the referral is credited to you for 60 days following the click. Last-click attribution. The most recent affiliate link clicked before signup earns the commission.
  • Qualifying products: All paid hosting plans (shared, reseller, future VPS and dedicated plans) and Professional Email plans. Commissions are NOT paid on domain-only orders, add-ons purchased by existing customers, or free trials that are never paid.
  • Qualified Referral: a new customer who (a) reaches the portal via your tracking link, (b) creates a Nova Grid account that did not previously exist under the same email, name, address, or payment method, and (c) pays and keeps their first invoice through the Reversal Period without charge-back, refund, or fraud flag.
  • Reversal Period: 60 days from the customer's first payment. Commissions earned are held in a "pending" state during this window and become "approved" on Day 61. Charge-backs, refunds, and fraud reversals during the Reversal Period permanently cancel the associated commission.

Payout

  • Minimum threshold: $50 USD in approved commissions before a payout is issued.
  • Payout cadence: approved commissions above the threshold are paid on the 15th of the month following the month the commission was approved ("Net-15 from month-end").
  • Payout method: PayPal (default). Bank transfer (ACH, U.S. only) or account credit available on request. We do not pay via cryptocurrency, gift cards, or third-party money-transfer services.
  • Currency: all commissions and payouts are denominated in U.S. dollars. If you request payout in a non-USD currency, conversion is at our payment processor's prevailing rate and any conversion fees are deducted from the payout.
  • Unpaid balances: approved commissions below the threshold carry over indefinitely. Accounts closed or terminated for cause forfeit any remaining balance (see Termination).
  • Tax reporting: affiliates in the United States who earn $600 or more in a calendar year will be issued a Form 1099-NEC and must provide a W-9 on request. Affiliates outside the U.S. must provide a W-8BEN (individual) or W-8BEN-E (entity) on request. We will not issue payouts exceeding the reporting threshold until required tax forms are on file.

Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement in your jurisdiction.
  • You must have a valid email address and a working payout account (PayPal, bank, or similar).
  • Nova Grid employees, contractors, and immediate family members of either are not eligible.
  • Participation may be restricted or denied in jurisdictions where the Program would conflict with applicable law.

Prohibited Promotion Methods

Affiliates must not use any of the following to promote Nova Grid:

  • Unsolicited email (spam), SMS, or instant messaging, including distribution to purchased, rented, or scraped contact lists. All email promotion must comply with CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, and local law.
  • Self-referrals: you may not earn a commission on your own signup, an immediate family member's signup, a signup made from the same IP/device/payment method as your own account, or a signup you otherwise fund or control.
  • Incentivized traffic: paid-to-click, auto-surf, cashback, or rewards platforms that materially compensate the end user for signing up.
  • Cookie stuffing: loading tracking pixels or affiliate URLs in hidden iframes, 1x1 pixels, or without an affirmative click from the user.
  • Trademark bidding: bidding on "Nova Grid", "Nova Grid Hosting", "Nova Grid", typos/misspellings of our brand, or combinations of our brand with "promo", "coupon", "discount", "review", or similar modifiers on any paid-search, social-ad, or programmatic-ad platform.
  • Impersonation: posing as Nova Grid staff, pretending to be Nova Grid itself, registering domains, social handles, or email addresses that imply official affiliation, or using our logo in ways that suggest you are us.
  • Deceptive content: fake testimonials, fabricated benchmarks, false claims about pricing, uptime, or features, or misrepresenting our services.
  • Malware, adware, browser-hijacking, or toolbar installs to inject tracking links.
  • Content prohibited by our AUP: promotion of Nova Grid from adult sites (without prior written approval), sites that infringe IP, phishing sites, or any site you could not lawfully host with us.

Trademark and Creative Assets

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the "Nova Grid" and "Nova Grid Hosting" names and our logo solely to promote the Program and our services in accordance with these terms. You may not:

  • Register or attempt to register any trademark, service mark, domain name, social-media handle, or application name that contains our marks or is confusingly similar.
  • Modify our logo (recolor, distort, add effects), combine it with other marks, or use it in a way that implies endorsement or partnership beyond the scope of this Program.
  • Use our marks in a disparaging manner or in association with content that violates our AUP.

We may provide pre-approved banners, screenshots, and copy blocks in the affiliate dashboard. Use of those assets is preferred but not required.

Disclosure Requirements

You must comply with all applicable advertising and endorsement disclosure rules in your jurisdiction, including the U.S. FTC's "Endorsement Guides" where applicable. At minimum, content that contains your affiliate link must include a clear and conspicuous disclosure that you may earn a commission if the reader signs up. Examples: "This post contains affiliate links" in a blog header, or "#ad" / "#sponsored" on social posts where the platform's policy requires it.

Tracking, Cookies, and Privacy

When a user clicks your tracking link we set a first-party cookie on our billing portal recording the affiliate ID and timestamp. This cookie is used solely to attribute commissions and is subject to our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for complying with cookie-consent and privacy laws on your own sites and for informing visitors when they are about to be redirected to Nova Grid via an affiliate link.

Intellectual Property

All rights in the Nova Grid name, logo, website content, marketing materials, and the Program itself are and remain the property of Nova Grid Hosting LLC. Nothing in this agreement transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

No Employment Relationship

You are an independent contractor. Nothing in this agreement creates an employment, partnership, joint-venture, franchise, or agency relationship between you and Nova Grid. You have no authority to bind Nova Grid or to make representations on our behalf.

Termination

  • By you: you may leave the Program at any time by closing your affiliate account in the billing portal or by emailing partners@novagridhosting.com.
  • By us, without cause: we may terminate or suspend your participation for any reason with 30 days' notice. Approved commissions earned before termination remain payable subject to the standard payout rules.
  • By us, for cause: we may terminate immediately and without notice if we determine in good faith that you have (a) violated these terms or our AUP, (b) engaged in fraud, self-referral, trademark abuse, or any prohibited promotion method, or (c) caused reputational or operational harm to Nova Grid. Termination for cause forfeits any unpaid balance (approved or pending) and gives us the right to claw back paid commissions linked to fraudulent activity.
  • Effect of termination: your tracking links are deactivated and existing cookies expire. Outstanding approved commissions are paid on the next scheduled payout cycle unless termination is for cause.

Commission Reversal and Fraud

We reserve the right to reverse any commission at any time (including after payout) if we determine that the underlying referral was fraudulent, duplicate, self-referred, driven by a prohibited promotion method, or subsequently refunded or charged back. Reversed commissions may be deducted from future payouts or invoiced to you if no future payouts are expected.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Nova Grid Hosting LLC and its officers, employees, and contractors from any third-party claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your promotion of Nova Grid in violation of these terms or applicable law, (b) content you publish in connection with the Program, or (c) your breach of any representation, warranty, or obligation in this agreement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nova Grid's total liability to you arising out of or relating to the Program will not exceed the total commissions paid to you in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or $100, whichever is greater. Nova Grid is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits or loss of goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Changes to This Agreement

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced to enrolled affiliates by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued participation in the Program after an update constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept a change, your sole remedy is to leave the Program.

Governing Law and Disputes

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this agreement will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
